A characterful website and blog for a tabletop gaming small business, built to show off original artwork and drive traffic to an Etsy shop.
The brief
Rose creates original artwork for a tabletop gaming audience and sells it through an Etsy shop. She wanted a website that showcased that work beautifully and gave the brand a home of its own, with room to share updates through a blog.
The challenge
The site needed real character to match the artwork, but it still had to be quick to load, easy for search engines to understand, and accessible to everyone. It also needed to guide visitors clearly towards the Etsy shop without feeling pushy.
What we built
We designed a bold, characterful one-page layout paired with a blog, custom-built for performance and accessibility. Interactive and animated touches bring the personality Rose asked for, while clear calls to action point visitors to the shop. SEO best practices were baked in from the start so the site is discoverable across search engines and AI assistants.
The outcome
Beyond the Tavern now has a distinctive, professional presence that does justice to the artwork and gives the business a proper platform to grow from.
